Nebra Skay Studio is a sustainable design studio, working on scientific research, innovative materials, digital design tools, 3D prototyping and a local transparent supply chain.
Our ambition is to realize the best product without causing unnecessary damage to the planet and people, inspiring and proposing solutions to the big challenges of this era.
There’s no sustainability in the product without sustainability in the whole process.
For this reason, we choose to design and control our own supply chain.

Research
We choose materials and eco-design practices, with the support of research institutes and universities. Partners: University of Bari; Forethinking; CIKIS studio.
3D Prototyping
With 3D modeling, we design 0-waste patterns and reduce pre-consumption waste in the cutting and prototyping phase.
Re-use
We also use material from previous production cycles: deadstock from past collections, recovered material from items returned with the take-back service on the platform.
Collections
We do not make seasonal collections but single drops of capsules and products. The clothes are no gender and inclusive in sizes. In this way we manage the warehouse, reducing waste and scrap.
Processing
The garments are designed and prototyped with the help of local skilled labor. Tailors and modelers check with us the comfort, durability and repairability of the design.
Mass production
We produce in Puglia (southern Italy) in partner laboratories, a few steps from us. Thus, we reduce CO2 consumption, know the working conditions in the supply chain and contribute to the development of the local community.
Digital label
Our products are equipped with a Digital Passport (DPP), to ensure transparency on production and unsold products, combining specific and unique information on the material and the supply chain.

NSS Platform
On our e-commerce platform, each customer has a personal dashboard where they can store information about their items, request assistance or access after-sales services.
Shipping
Shipping times are longer than other e-commerce: we manage orders so that the vehicles travel fully loaded and reduce CO2 emissions. Packaging is sustainable.
Events
We create pop-up stores and often attend trade fairs and events. Objective: to share good practices and create a community of fashion lovers.
Traceability
Thanks to our dashboard and after-sales services, we will stay in touch after purchase and share the responsibility for the garment’s life cycle with you.
Support
Through the platform, you can access video tutorial content or contact us and receive support for the management and care of your garments. You can buy spare parts or elements for customization.
